breaking

akhir-akhir ini gempa terus ya? hari ini, 30 september 2009, udah terjadi 6 gempa di 5 daerah berbeda di Indonesia dengan kekuatan tertinggi 7.9 sr di Pariaman, Sumatera Barat. sediihh :( eventhough i don't have any relatives and family there, eventhough i haven't been to all the places that got hit by the earthquake, but still..

all my thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the earthquake. semoga cobaan ini bikin kita semua jadi lebih kuat, semoga kita semua dilindungi dari segala bencana dan marabahaya, dan semoga bencana ini bisa bikin kita mikir dan belajar untuk jadi lebih baik lagi kedepannya, amiin :)

besok (!) gue mulai exam niiih! degdegan tapi (tetep) males belajar. seperti musim-musim ujian semester-semester kemarin, kertas-kertas berserakan, begadang tidur pagi, tapiiii NGGAK BELAJAR! hahaha emang nih kasian deh emak bapak gue, mimpi apa ya punya anak super males kaya gini hihihi maafkan aku papa mama, aku berjanji akan berusaha mencontek sekuat tenaga!! hihi

untuk memuaskan rasa kangen karena akhir-akhir ini (dan dalam beberapa waktu kedepan) gue (akan) jarang posting *biasaa, sok sibuk mau belajar padahal bengong-bengong aja dirumah*, jadii gue kasih ini aja yaaa! this is my last purchase, ceritanya kebobolan karena keseringan ngeliatin shopping blog, eeeehhh akhirnya ga kuat iman!

it's a stella mccartney-inspired mesh shoes!! i fell in love since the first time i saw the original stella mccartney one. tapiii, apadayaa kantong mahasiswa tak mampuu, yaudah kita beli yang mirip-mirip aja yaaa? :D unfortunately, the shoes color came a bit different. gue mengharapkan warnanya bakal nude beige gituu, eeh ternyata agak-agak menjurus ke kuning dikit, emas dikit, coklat dikit *LOH? yaa gitudehh. agak kecewa siih, but still i love them :)

jadi ceritanya pas sepatu ini dikirim setelah menunggu 2 minggu, gue lagi ngga dirumah, jadi gue minta tolong housemate gue buat ngambilin paketnya, terus gue minta bukain dan liatin bentuk sepatunya kaya apa.

daan setelah melihat barang aslinya, emang sih emas-emas gimanaaa gitu *bukan emas-emas: abang-abang ya!* emang nih, harusnya gue mengikuti kata hati (bukan mengikuti kata pacar hahaha) buat beli yang warna item ajaa. black is the safest colour when you want to buy something online, isnt it?

eeeh, ini kok postingannya jadi panjang? padahal ceritanya cuma mau nunjukin sepatu baruu alhamdulilaaaah hehehe harus belajar lagi nihhh! wish me luck people! ciao for now! :-*

im baaacckkk! apparently one week is not that long and yes, i ate a lot. i mean, A LOT. everytime i had a chance to munch something, i never pass. main course, lebaran cookies, anything. sweet sweet life ;)

exam week is coming up and i really have to study. some coursework marks are uploaded and mine are not that good, so i have to work my ass for final exam. and as usual, i am too lazy to start :( i finished summarizing one subject just now, but nothing sticks on my mind. oh my.. dear God, please help me through this (and next next next) final exam. amin.

do you like the header? do you like the header? *big grin* ive been working with my laptop and not my PC so i have only limited access to images, fonts, softwares, and anything else that are basically stored in my PC. and the header is the close i could create with my laptop without having to install photoshop or anything *yes, i did it using ms.paint*.

how are you doing dearest? me? never been better! i just arrived from visiting my boyfriend and this morning i finished my last college related thing before idul fitri and final exam. IM FREE! :D this wednesday im gonna visit my boyfriend again, spend some times together and celebrate his birthday on friday, then fly back home on friday evening. i love my life :)

this going back to basic template won't stay long, hopefully. im trying to make a header and anything else cause i probably will end up doing nothing next week (no class, yippie!). lotsa things to do actually, before going back and celebrating idul fitri together with my family. posting about the award that gogo gave me will be on the top of my list (along with several things). too lazy to do anything right now, sowwyyyy :( im trying to collect all the positive energy and spirit though :)

pick somebody up

its been a long time since my last wishlist post. dont know why, in the past few days, i am sooo in the mood for shopping. i've been looking at too many shopping blogs and catalogs and im hungryyyyyyy (for shopping, it is)!! since im broke (thank you, bangkok trip), all i can do is looking at my computer's screen and drooling over too many items. ah!

from YSL to Vivienne Westwood, from Topshop to Chanel, I WANT!

there it goes, my so-not-gonna-be-true wishlist :( i really want the Lady Dragon shoes! and also the tights! whywhywhyyyy the price of the shoes has to be over 1 million rupiah? whyyyy? im not ready to spend soo much money over a pair of shoes, so byebye Lady Dragon :'( oh, and the tights. its been a long time since my last visit to topshop and im definitely gonna search the tights! i want i want i waaaant!

hows your fasting going? time is going too fast. its already wednesday and in approximately 2 weeks more im going home to celebrate idul fitri :) cant wait!

by the way, i made banana steam cake today and thank god it didnt taste bad :D so im thinking, why dont i share the recipe here? maybe one of you will make it to break your fast today! :)

here goes the recipe:

Banana Steam Cake

1 egg
1/3 cup castor sugar
1 banana, mashed in a bowl using fork
2/3 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon yeast
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil is suggested, but i use corn cooking oil)

ps: i use ikea kalas colorful cup to measure the ingredient. measurement might be different depending on the cup size (here is the pic of the cup).

(original recipe here, i modified the recipe a little since i use different type of flour and only use 1/2 of the recipe)

preheat the steamer first (until the water is boiled, i put the pan inside the steamer before). whisk the egg and sugar in a bowl using mixer about approximately 3 minutes. add the mashed banana into the bowl. mix the flour, yeast and baking soda together in another bowl. pour the flour mixing into the egg mixing bowl. fold it together until mixed together. lastly, add the oil into the batter and mixed it together again. pour the batter into the pan (i use 6 inch round pan, but you can use papercup or anything). steam using medium heat for 15-20 minutes. check the cake using fork, and voila, the result is like this:

for me, the sweetness is just right. not too sweet, and the banana is not over-tasted (?). me likey! easy and delicious! i will make this cake again soon! :)

sleeping with the lights on

let me tell you a story about a boy, lets call him anyun. he may seem imperfect, with all his flaws and all. but i love him. i love him in every effin possible way. if you ask me, why? if you ask me, what is so special about him? i will answer, what's not to love?

when i had my first surgery, far away from home and my family, he stayed by my side for 5 full days in the hospital, skipped all his class just to accompany me so i wont feel alone. it was two years ago, ramadhan time. he bought me every food he thought i like just so i will eat because hospital foood sucks. he spoon-fed me so i will finish my meal. he said i was pretty although i hadn't had any chance to take a shower at all because of the post-surgery rule. he didnt even mind to celebrate his birthday at the hospital, alone, while i was sleeping because i was exhausted.
again, what's not to love?

it was one of the weekend that we spent together at my apartment, when suddenly i was sick and my body temperature rocketed to the sky. he had to go back because it was already sunday. on monday night, i became worse so my housemate brought me to the emergency unit at the hospital and the doctor said that i had white blood cell infection. i called him afterward. what happened next was, he drove in the middle of the night, rushed, looked so worried. he stayed at my house for 5 full days until i felt better. he skipped all his classes just to make sure that i was okay, just to make sure that i ate my medicine according to the schedule. he kept awake while i was sleeping just to make sure that nothing happened to me while i was sleeping. he even cooked for me, although we both know that he had no ability to cook at all. he is the sweetest.
again, what's not to love?

every weekend we spent together, every morning after i wake up and open my eyes, the first thing he will do is kiss me, and then said 'morning sayang, you look very beautiful this morning'. he will sleep after i sleep, because he loves to see the way i sleep, he said. he will wake up before i wake up, because he loves to see the way i wake up, he said.
again, what's not to love?

he listens to me like no one ever did before. he tries to understand my stubbornness although he is a stubborn himself. he cheers me up in my every melting moment, whenever im down or sad. he tries to always be there for me eventhough i might not always be there for him. he tries to fulfill my wishes although sometimes it is stupid, illogical, and out of mind.
again, what's not to love?

from the first day, i know that i will be in love with you. but i never know it will be this deep. thank you, for the last 26 months. thank you for your patience, understanding, kindness. thank you for being the best rock. thank you for accepting me the way i am.

happy 26 months anniversary, dear love. may we still be together for the next 26 months, 26 years, and more. you know i love you, as always. i love you, in every possible way. i love you, my happiness :)
