sleeping with the lights on

let me tell you a story about a boy, lets call him anyun. he may seem imperfect, with all his flaws and all. but i love him. i love him in every effin possible way. if you ask me, why? if you ask me, what is so special about him? i will answer, what's not to love?

when i had my first surgery, far away from home and my family, he stayed by my side for 5 full days in the hospital, skipped all his class just to accompany me so i wont feel alone. it was two years ago, ramadhan time. he bought me every food he thought i like just so i will eat because hospital foood sucks. he spoon-fed me so i will finish my meal. he said i was pretty although i hadn't had any chance to take a shower at all because of the post-surgery rule. he didnt even mind to celebrate his birthday at the hospital, alone, while i was sleeping because i was exhausted.
again, what's not to love?

it was one of the weekend that we spent together at my apartment, when suddenly i was sick and my body temperature rocketed to the sky. he had to go back because it was already sunday. on monday night, i became worse so my housemate brought me to the emergency unit at the hospital and the doctor said that i had white blood cell infection. i called him afterward. what happened next was, he drove in the middle of the night, rushed, looked so worried. he stayed at my house for 5 full days until i felt better. he skipped all his classes just to make sure that i was okay, just to make sure that i ate my medicine according to the schedule. he kept awake while i was sleeping just to make sure that nothing happened to me while i was sleeping. he even cooked for me, although we both know that he had no ability to cook at all. he is the sweetest.
again, what's not to love?

every weekend we spent together, every morning after i wake up and open my eyes, the first thing he will do is kiss me, and then said 'morning sayang, you look very beautiful this morning'. he will sleep after i sleep, because he loves to see the way i sleep, he said. he will wake up before i wake up, because he loves to see the way i wake up, he said.
again, what's not to love?

he listens to me like no one ever did before. he tries to understand my stubbornness although he is a stubborn himself. he cheers me up in my every melting moment, whenever im down or sad. he tries to always be there for me eventhough i might not always be there for him. he tries to fulfill my wishes although sometimes it is stupid, illogical, and out of mind.
again, what's not to love?

from the first day, i know that i will be in love with you. but i never know it will be this deep. thank you, for the last 26 months. thank you for your patience, understanding, kindness. thank you for being the best rock. thank you for accepting me the way i am.

happy 26 months anniversary, dear love. may we still be together for the next 26 months, 26 years, and more. you know i love you, as always. i love you, in every possible way. i love you, my happiness :)

bangkok; land of heaven (part 4)

i knooow this day will come eventually. the day that i will continue writing about my oh-so-last-year bangkok trip. nope, not because im finally in the mood for that, but at this almost 3 am time, i cant sleep! :(
so here we go,

day 4

after a morning shopping to MBK (Mah Boon Krong) which came a little dissapointing (because i think platinum mall is the best), we decided to have a little massage treat at a massage parlour near the hotel. the bill for the massage came up at 430 baht for 1.5 hours full body massage. the masseuses were very nice, they tried to ask us about our trip using body language because they cant speak english (although they can speak japanese. weird huh?) they also smiled a lot and said 'thank you' a lot. i love bangkok for the people's manner :) after resting for a while and taking shower, we took the BTS to Asia Hotel to watch cabaret! yay! i myself think that this was the highlight of our trip. the cabaret was awesome!

its a must watch! pleaseee, if you happen to go to bangkok, please watch this. it's hilarious, its amazing, its worth-watching. those transgender with oh-so-fabulous body, those slapstick comedy, those men dancing with high heels, really, amusing :D

day 5

this is our last day and we firstly decided to stay at the hotel until check-out time and straight away went to the airport. but (un)fortunately, our flight was delayed for about 2 hours and we had the chance to go to siam square for a quick shopping before going home. and guess what? i bought 6 bottles of nailpolish, 1 pair of flat shoes, and 2 bags within just half an hour. life is beautiful my friend ;D

AAAAAAND THAT'S IT! THE END!

mind my way of writing, i know it sounds like i write it in a rush or anything *yeah, i have no talent in writing ;D*. basically i LOVE every tiny things there, i LOVE the people which are soooo nice, i LOVE the shopping place (or should i say, paradise?), maaan, i LOVELOVELOVE bangkok. im gonna go back there, soon ♥

the remedy

hey, its been a while, isnt it? no, no, im not busy or anything, im just lazy. too lazy these days. i dont know why but i feel like this trimester of college is the laziest one. i mean, the lecturers are lazy (cancelling class, postponing class, dissmissing class early) and the assignments are not that bad comparing with those from last trimester. and with the rumors of H1N1 spreading in Melaka, the laziness is somehow getting stronger. im sorry for the lack of updates :( i feel like nothing interesting is happenning in my life, so yeah, nothing to update.

by the waaaay, i want to say HAPPY RAMADHAAN! may God bless us always! :)
aaaaaaand the laziness is going strong and stronger within this ramadhan. i slept too much, more than 10 hours a day on the first three days of ramadhan and i still feel that it was not enough! oh my god, im a pig. im a sleepyhead pig. thank God the class is still running although some lectures are already finish, so i have a reason to wake up early, go to campus, and not just wasting my time sleeping :D

how was your first three days of fasting people? mine are good, although nothing beats the deliciousness of home cooking, but it's quite good here. i am craving for some es oyen, martabak manis, mie ayam, and pangsit goreng. but i guess that's what most fasting people do, right? we craved a lot of food but at the end we eat only a little of it because we're too full :) thank God im going back for idul fitri so i can enjoy those delicious food at the end of september :)

oh. lastly, i wanna say sorry about the bangkok postings. i ended up writing only 3 days of my journey because of laziness *AGAIN* but dont worry, once my mood starts kicking again, i'll update the rest of the story. *pinky promise* :)

bangkok; land of heaven (part 3) and some other things

before continuing the story of my trip, bangkok day 3, i want to share my thoughts first. i think this is the first time i write my opinion about something kinda deep. i am wondering, why, WHY, is it so hard for people to say 'excuse me' (permisi), 'please' (tolong), 'sorry' (maaf), and 'thank you' (terimakasih)?? it think those are the most powerful words in the world. i mean, for the sake of good manners and to avoid rudeness, pleaseee please say those words. im kinda disappointed and sad hearing someone ask for help without saying 'please'. hey, you're the one who needs other people, come on! one little word with only 6 letters wont hurt anyone right? and when you make mistake to other people, please, say sorry. dont believe elton john for singing 'sorry seems to be the hardest word' because it simply doesnt! and the one that disturbs me the most is when you are being helped by someone, when he/she lend you some money, or some things, or give you something, or answer your question, or anything that makes your life easier, and you didnt say THANK YOU. its effin rude, you know. its not that i am 'gila hormat' or something, but 'thank you', imho, is the simplest and the smallest appreciation you can give to the person that helps you. this is just my thoughts, anyhow :)

now, back to the main topic, its time for bangkok trip story! :D
day 3

we woke up late because we were so exhausted the day before. after having breakfast, we decided to go to another shopping complex in siam area. we went to platinum mall (which comes almost the same with ITC in indonesia), but in a cheaper version. in my opinion, it is a shoes paradise for you who are shoes whore. any models, flats, heels, boots, gladi, you name it they have it :D i manage to spend most of my money there although there are some things that i regret i didnt buy :( byebye cute jeans and cute jelly shoes :( :( after having some little meal (i ate takoyaki, which comes different from what we had in indonesia and malaysia), we walked accross the street and went to pratunam plaza (if im not mistaken ;p its pratunam something, you wont miss it since the building has a big big banner of its name ;p) we already felt soooo tired that we couldnt manage to walk around pratunam plaza. we just went to a shop and bought some oleh-oleh there (cheap bangkok t-shirt :D:D) it was already 6 pm when we decided to go home with a lot of plastic bag in hand. after taking shower and had a rest for awhile, we went to a thai restaurant and had a very nice dinner there. day three over! :D:D

bangkok day 2

since our main reason to bangkok is shopping, and since its also sunday, we decided to go to Chatuchak Weekend Market. this is the most famous market in bangkok because they sell everything, and i mean EVERYTHING! you need plants? or clothes? or food? or even pet? they have it there. its one hell of a market and its very very very very big. huge, it is. once you see things you like, please buy before its too late. before you go somewhere else and you cant go back to the previous shop just because you lost it. the price is darn cheap and it will go cheaper if you buy bulk. the best way to go there is by BTS (Bangkok Train System *if im not wrong ;p). you just follow the light green route until you reach mo chit, and there it is, the famous chatuchak market. bring a lot of cash, wear light clothes, put much sunblock and you're ready to hit chatuchak :D

on another note, tonight i had dinner with the girls to celebrate muthe's birthday. we had seafood and it was awesome (although we had to wait quite some times because the resto is packed and they were running out of staff) but its all worth it! cheap and good food, yummy yumm! and here's what i wear tonight :)

bangkok; land of heaven (part 1)

heyooooooo peopleeee im back! hihihi im back from BANGKOK!!!! the city that ive been dreaming to go since three years ago! :D bangkok is awesomely awesome! great food, great shopping, great people! oh maaan five days are not enough! so here's the recap of my trip to bangkok

day 1
we take the 18.45 (malaysia's time) flight using airasia *apalagi coba? hahaha* and finally arrived at 19.45 (thailand's time). we managed to go to our hotel (which came very good due to the very cheap price ;D) we stayed at the Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn, located very near with the Thong Lo BTS station and 7/11 (very important!). the price is 900 baht per night for superior room, including breakfast! and yes, they provided hot shower, tv with cable (but with limited channel only), hairdryer (!), complimentary mineral water, and toiletteries. very recommended!

because of the hungry-ness (?), we decided to take a walk and have a late dinner. apparently, bangkok people are not a night owl, since most of the restaurant closed at 11pm and the most of the shop closed at 9.30 (!!). we managed to eat in a little japanese restaurant, so cute! and the food was greeeeat! and the price is very reasonable. me likey!

TGIF! :) tomorrow is friday and the last day of college before mid-term break. finally! :D :D so im going away for 6 days but i'll be back before you realize ;p im gonna meet my boyfriend first tomorrow, then gonna head to the airport on saturday while my boyfriend will go back to jakarta for 1 week. wish me a very pleasant flight and trip, 'kay people?

okay, this post will be both in english and bahasa indonesia (yang kurang baik dan kurang benar) karena capekkkk nulis pake bhs inggris terus yaaa hahaha gue semangat buangettttt tinggal 4 hari lagi and yuk byebye melaka! im going somewhere and im effin excited about that :D :D im not gonna tell you the destination until i go back home, so stay tune! *udah kaya di tv sama radio belom?*
tapiiiiii abis liburan selalu ada kesengsaraan *WHY???* gimana engga kalo abis mid-term break (1-9 agustus), tanggal 10nya harus ngumpulin assignment (yang TULIS TANGAN ituloh!), terus tanggal 11nya, hari selasa, ada dua midterm dengan jarak dua jam saja. yak, dan tidak lupa satu buah assignment yang belum dikerjakan sama sekali tentunyaaaa. belum selesai, rabu ada midterm maha sulit sedunia, tujuh chapter, mati aja akuuu matiiiii! ditutup di hari sabtu, midterm lagiiii. hari sabtu midterm? yoi pace. sabtu. catet tuh, jam 10-12 siang. mantaf sobbbbbb. terus yang ada sekarang gue bingung gimana belajarnya.satu subject antara 6-7 chapter, jadi 4 subject kira-kira 24-28 chapter sajaaaa. mariii marii meninggal yuk! padahal rencananya abis pulang dari trip yang menggembirakan itu, mau pacaran duluuuu, kasian kan pacarku ditinggal 5 hari hihihi *nanti aku bawain oleh-oleh kok tenang aja ;p*
harusnya sih daripada sutrisno ga jelas begini, mendingan gue belajar ya kan? tapi malesnya itu POL! gini nih, biasanya harus kepepet dulu baru niat. dasar anak malasssss! :D

oiya, tadi gue ngambil passport di kampus, abis diperpanjang visa-nya. pas minta passportnya, kakaknya nanya, visa gue abis tanggal berapa. gue jawab dong, satu agustus. eeeeh dia bilang begini loh: ya nanti tanggal dua ya ambilnya! jejejejeeeeng! padahal gue udah wanti-wanti sama kakak-kakak dan abang-abang disana, saya mau jalan-jalaaaaaaaaaaan tanggal satuuu! eh untungnya pas diubek-ubek ternyata passportku sudah jadii, alhamdulillaaah :) agak kecewa sih sebenernya, soalnya gue ngarep bisa dapet visa dua taun, eh ternyata setaun aja. tapi gapapa yang penting passportku sudah kembalii :D

oooh, im really in the mood for shopping. believe me, i havent bought anything since last january!! well, there are some things like earrings and t-shirts but nooo, i havent bought any bags, or shoes, or any clothes since then. i am saving my money for something bigger, something more exciting than just shopping *well, shopping will still be involved in the 'bigger' things ;p*

i miss my boyfriend :( havent meet him for two weeks and i wont meet him this weekend i guess. next weekend is the safest bet but we'll see. he's been the greatest and the cutest and the sweetest this week. not that he wasnt before, but you should hear him when we were on the phone. you should read his messages too, the sweetest! i am now smiling, alone, in my room, thinking of him. and i miss him more :((

on another side, i am really really really craving for seafood. yes, i am allergic to crab *but not to crabstick, weird huh?*, but i wanna wanna wanna eat some grilled fish, fried squid, aaaaaaaaargh i waaaaaaaaaant!! the idea of going to the beach and eat there is not bad huh? too bad i am not money-wise so yeah, i am already broke, in the middle of the month :(( i guess saying buhbye to seafood and all those fancy food and welcoming instant noodles and can food is a better idea for now, no? and i guess, saying goodbye to this blog and doing one of my assignments is a better idea too. buhbye!
