this is the first cheesecake i ever made and it turned out to be good! im so happy that when my friends ate this, their feedback was good :) and for you who think that making a cake is hard, you should try this. this is very easy, even for a beginner with no cooking-skill, this is easy :) let me share the recipe with you.
Plain Cheesecake topped with Chocolate and Whipped Cream
utensils:
spoon (tablespoon & teaspoon)
bowl
round spring form pan (i use the small one with the 12cm diameter)
ingredients:
cake-base:
80 grams biscuits *approximately 4-5 biscuits* (i use digestive biscuits, but you can use any)
40 grams unsalted butter - melted in a pan
2 table spoon castor sugar (you can find it at supermarket, pretty easy to find)
cake-filling:
125 grams cream cheese (any brand, but i suggest Kraft Philadelphia)
5 tablespoon castor sugar
150 gram whipped cream (depends on your likeness of sweet and fluffiness)
1 tablespoon gelatin - boil with a little water until melted
topping:
the topping is base on your taste, since i like it plain, i dont use much topping. you can use strawberry or blueberry jam (mix it well with hot water before spread on the top of the cheesecake)
cooking chocolate
whipped cream
how to make:
cake-base:
crush the biscuits in the bowl and add the sugar. mix them well. pour the melted butter and mix well. put the crushed biscuit into a round spring form pan and press hard until packed. put the pan in the fridge for min. 1 hour (i put it for about 3 hours).
cake filling:
put the chream cheese and sugar in the bowl. beat the cream cheese with the sugar until mixed well. add the whipped cream and mix. last, put the melted gelatin into the bowl, mix well. pour the mixture into the pan and put again in fridge for 1 day.
topping:
melt the cooking chocolate using a pan filled with water and a bowl. after melt, spread it on the top of the cheesecake. add the whipped cream.
HAPPY EATING :))
p.s.: i know mine is far from good and some of you may have better recipes and cakes, but hey, there's no hurt in sharing something, right? :)
